We're upgrading our systems, so some features like new user sign-ups and password resets aren't available right now. Upgrade info

Some services are temporarily offline while we make improvements

We’re doing a bit of behind-the-scenes work to make Red Whale even better. While we carry out this essential maintenance, a few things are on pause — but most of the site is still running as usual.

We expect everything to be back to normal by 8 December. Thanks for bearing with us while we make these important updates.

What’s affected

  • Creating a new account – this is temporarily unavailable. Please check back after 8 December to register.
  • Password resets and email verification (including secondary emails) are paused.
  • Order confirmation might be delayed.

What you can still do

  • Browse the website and explore our CPD courses, articles, and resources
  • Log in (if you already have an account and know your password)
  • Purchase and access any of our products once logged in
  • Ask questions on Bytes and continue your learning journey.

FAQs

Can I still use the site if I’m already logged in?

Yes! If you already have an account with us, you can still log in, buy courses, and access everything as usual.

I forgot my password – what now?

Password resets are temporarily paused. If you’re unable to log in, please try again after 8 December. If it’s urgent, contact us and we’ll do our best to help.

I’ve just bought a course – where’s my confirmation email?

It might be delayed, but don’t worry, your course access is live and ready to go. You can find your course under on the Courses page using the "My Courses" toggle once logged in.

Can I still browse the site without logging in?

Absolutely. You can explore all our courses, podcasts and pearls without logging in. We recommend making a note of the course you’re interested in and come back on 8 December to register.

Will I lose access to anything I’ve already purchased?

Not at all. If you’re logged in, you’ll still have full access to your purchased content.

Why is the system upgrade needed?

We’re making improvements to ensure our systems remain secure and reliable. This work is part of our ongoing commitment to ensure you receive a high-quality learning experience.
