How does GP Trainee Essentials work?

How long do I get access to GP Trainee Essentials for?

You will get access to GP Trainee Essentials for as long as you are an MDU GPST or Affiliate member. You'll need to create a Red Whale account if you don't already have one. Please make sure to use the email address associated with your MDU membership.  

Do I need an MDU code to sign up for GP Trainee Essentials?

No, we've made access to GP Trainee Essentials even easier. Sign into Red Whale using the email address associated with your MDU membership and we'll automatically give you access. You'll need to create a Red Whale account if you don't already have one.

Where do I find out the webinars included with GP Trainee Essentials?

You'll find details on GP Trainee Essentials webinar topics in your 'Courses' tab. You can watch them on demand anytime until the end of your GP Trainee Essentials membership.

GP Trainee Essentials terms and conditions

  • As part of signing up for GPST Essentials, you agree to the usual terms and conditions of affiliate membership. 

  • Affiliate members will receive instructions on how to redeem their Red Whale benefits approximately 2 weeks after their membership is active and 4 weeks for GPST members.

  • Any authentication credentials you receive from the MDU to sign up for GPST Essentials are solely for your own personal use and must not be shared or used by anyone else. 

  • You may not share your authentication credentials with another individual. 

  • The content provided cannot be exchanged for money or any other products.  

  • Your authentication credentials will remain in place as long as you remain a member of the MDU and a GP Trainee. Once you qualify, your authentication credentials to GP Trainee Essentials will be revoked.  

  • The MDU reserves the right to revoke your authentication credentials to GPST Essentials for affiliate or GPST members.  

  • As part of signing up for GPST Essentials, you allow the MDU to share your details with Red Whale. The MDU may contact you to try and help you get the most from the learning offered within the GPST Essentials package. 

  • This offer is only available for GPSTs in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. 

  • The MDU reserves the right to withdraw the promotion without notice. 

  • By signing up to this product, you agree that Red Whale may share your data with The MDU so that they can record which of their members have been given access to GP Trainee Essentials.
